Q: What operating system does the PACS software run on?

A: The HPS solution is powered by an on-site PACS solution currently runs on Windows XP – 8.1 OS.


Q: Is the PACS solution browser specific?

A: Currently, Internet Explorer versions 6 – 11 is required for viewer functionality. (IE 10 & 11 need to run in compatibility mode). We are in the process of upgrading to a Universal Browser solution that will launch very soon.


Q: Where can I get instructions on how to perform specific functions within the PACS viewer?

A: Log in to the PACS viewer and select the “?” icon at the top right of the screen. Once the user manual is displayed you can use the keyword search tool to retrieve step by step instructions on how to perform your desired task.


Q: What is the support process for the HPS PACS solution?

A: For the fastest support response, please use the Service Support submission form. As soon as we receive your request one of our representatives will be in touch.


Q: Is my e-mail address protected?

A: Yes. If you email anyone with Hosted PACS Solutions, your e-mail will be protected. We will never sell or give away your e-mail address or personal information to any third-party organization under any circumtance. Keep in mind that HPS does operate special e-mail based services, such as newsletters and surveys, but you can opt out of receiving these items at any time.
